When I joined SortMyCash, the company had a bold vision: to revolutionize personal finance by empowering individuals to manage their money more effectively. The mission was clear, but the path to execution needed structure, alignment, and a roadmap that would transform ideas into tangible results.

My first task was to create a detailed, measurable, and executable strategy—one that provided clarity across all teams, fostered accountability, and set SortMyCash on a course toward achieving product-market fit. The strategy outlined not just what needed to be built, but how it would be built, tested, and refined to ensure that every step aligned with the company’s broader vision.

​

Beyond strategy, I focused on building a truly collaborative environment where cross-functional teams could work seamlessly. This meant ensuring that design, engineering, marketing, and leadership were all aligned, speaking the same language, and driving toward the same outcomes. A major part of this effort involved defining clear user personas, use cases, and customer journeys, which informed key design and development decisions. Understanding the real-world problems our users faced allowed us to build a product that wasn’t just functional but truly transformative.

Talent was another crucial factor in making this vision a reality. I led extensive hiring efforts, conducting numerous interviews to identify and secure the right talent in UX and engineering. At the same time, I worked closely with CxOs to refine the business model, ensuring that every strategic decision was rooted in both product viability and financial sustainability.

Now, with initial key hires in place and a well-structured roadmap, SortMyCash is positioned to move forward with the development of an MVP that is not just a proof of concept, but a robust, market-ready product. This MVP will validate our assumptions, establish confidence with investors, and begin generating revenue—turning the vision of SortMyCash into a reality.
